C’est le nom de la nouvelle collaboration entre le batteur-percussionniste-inventeur Eric Thielemans et Benoît Delbecq, lequel jouera au piano entièrement préparé de bois et gommes, soit une nouvelle première dans le cadre de la résidence d’artiste-associé de Delbecq au Centre Culturel de Strombeek à Grimbergen (Belgique).

 

Une mise en commun de matériel graphique qu’utilisent les deux musiciens afin d’élaborer leurs compositions et orienter leurs improvisations, soit une sorte d’OuLiPo musical à deux têtes, où la relation intime entre tissus de timbre et pulsations se place au centre du jeu instrumental.

 

Scores, a new collaboration between drummer-percussionist-inventor Eric Thielemans and Benoît Delbecq, who will play piano entirely prepared, a new premiere within the framework of Delbecq's associated artist residency at the Strombeek Cultural Center in Grimbergen (Belgium).

 

A pooling of graphic material both musicians use to elaborate their compositions and orient their improvisations, a kind of musical two headed OuLiPo, where the intimate relationship between timbre and pulsation is the center of the instrumental playing.
